Our Mission

AG Union exist to provide financial and non – financial products and services in empowering SACCO’s economically, socially and culturally and thereby enhance their contribution to the development of Ethiopia.

Our Vision

AG SACCOs Union be the most dynamic, leading, and reliable member-based financial institution in East Africa.

Target/Goal

At the end of this planning period, the union aims at achieving several overall goals:
1. Affiliated union members from current 50 to 100 at the end of the plan period
2. Member saving of 51,176,537.00 birr to 117, 018,547.00 birr at the end of the plan period.
3. Loan portfolio of 152 million to birr 237 million at the end of the plan period.
4. Collect Birr 8.430 million insurance premiums in the plan period and provide loan insurance.
5. Transform its service to the status of micro cooperative bank /mobile banking service.
6. Open front door service
7. Increase its existing investment capital contribution to Birr 60 Million in plan period
8. Target total Share Capital birr 39,513,000.00
9. Train 2500 trainees from 100 PC committee members an 100 employees
10. Train 65 management members of the union and 100 employees,
11. Train 100 stockholders
12. 84 PC book of accounts will be closed and audited
13. Put in place modern, computerized information database system and modern accounting software
14. Purchase printing machine and publishing accounting books and formats for SACCOs
15. To publish and distribute 25,000 magazine and 20,000 brochures
16. Open two branch offices in different operation areas of the union
17. Organize 5 experience sharing program
18. Organize 5 workshops
19. Conduct 8 Mini researches
20. Disseminating and implementing 6 studded research to solve the problems
21. Creating Footsteps the training center for center of excellence
22. Become affiliated member of ACCOSCA and WOCCU
23. To attain top ten ranking SACCO unions in the eastern Africa.
24. Make Sure the repayment rate is 99% and PRA is less than 1%
